Hello Coaches and PVP,
Brooklyn is excited to host you on Wednesday Oct 18th. Like all schools, parking will be a challenge - we encourage you not to park along Guthrie (RCMP don't like it) - if you exhaust our parking lots, consider hiking down from Highland soccer fields / ball diamond area across from Torrance Rd (400 m away) where there is parking located.
We will have a short coaches meeting as close to 3 pm as possible so we can begin by 3:15. Proposed order is gr 4, 3, on the 2k course followed by gr 7,5,6 on the 3 k course. These are great trails through the Northeast Woods that start up Guthrie Road and finish up back at Brooklyn El. Trails have some exposed roots, rocks and a bit of mud so this will be a "true cross country" run and what we believe to be, a lot of fun to wrap up the fall series.
Water bottles are recommended. No snack station provided at this run.
see you on Wednesday!
